It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion; to be a good steward of what my clients entrust me with.
I am Marlena Jones and accounting is one of my gifts. In College, I was an honor student-you know-the crazy one who loved doing extra homework and had to have perfect score on my exams. Once in the working world, I earned my IRS Enrolled Agent status and amassed several decades of Public Accounting experience (and some private accounting as well), working with clients in a multitude of industries. Later, I went to work for a large Non Profit as the Controller and helped build our local charter school system, while navigating the traitorous seas of governmental regulations and keeping us on coarse.
The ole saying is it takes a village to raise a child. I believe it takes a team of experts to help businesses reach their goals. So my 25+ years of experience is fueling my drive to do just that!
